Not Knocking Anyone Hustle.
A while now I seeing some ‘crash courses’ being offered with some exorbitant fees.I wonder to myself I cannot become angry with the facilitator of the course or presenter as a result if you want to learn something new in a short space of time and you have the finances to do so,who am I to judge.
In my little story, I will like to outline how essential ‘YouTube’ is,so similar as ‘putting the icing on the cheesecake’.I vividly recalled one day when the ‘TV fire stick’ initially were introduced on the market,at that time I bought one.However,the device needed to be programmed in order that you can view the channels.At that time to program a fire stick was on an average TT$150,hmm… sounds a bit costly simply to program,so I said to myself let me stroll through YouTube and see if I can follow the procedure of how to program the device.
To my surprise I came on a video that had many views on how to effectively program a fire stick. It was time consuming,however I got it done.When I mention to my room mate at the time on how I easily followed the steps to obtain the fire stick to work,she told her Mom and her Mom asked,’Son can you program mine’.I replied,’No problem!’.Inaddition after programming her fire stick,Moms gave me TT$200 for my time as it was time consuming to program.I approximately took 45mins to get the fire stick up and running with various channels.With the comprehension of how to effectively program a fire stick my room mate Mom told relatives and friends to purchase firesticks and she knows someone who can configure the device for them.For those who did not know where to purchase a fire stick,what I had done was purchase it for them and program it and simply charge one flat price which was more profitable for me at the time.Furthermore,that period I made over TT$4000 programming fire sticks just with the knowledge provided by you tube.
I mention this short story to everyone,for the purpose that not all the time you have to spend money to learn something new or to do a course.We live in an era,where you are presently saving the environment,trees,etc. from the use of tangible paper.We can electronically send emails,copy files onto a flash drive and relay information accordingly.Some of the best presenters and speeches be given are on you tube. Knowledge to me is expandable.You can listen to one of the most successful businessman on you tube,Facebook,Instagram for the price of nothing. The world is round and don’t confine your space at one place,you can be in Trinidad listening to a speech and then a few hours after be in New York listening to another speech by a world re-known presenter.
For the few countries I travelled thus far. I always overhear in my country Trinidad and Tobago the saying,’’United States is difficult to survive’’,no it is I tell them! I will tell you now,countries like the US you have to possess a skill,a trade as some may know it and once you perfect that at the best of your ability the people you can work alongside will be big names in the industry you choose to make you wealthy.No,you cannot go to the US and work Wall Mart and expect to live comfortable,you can not go to the US and be a waiter and say the country is hard.You are specifically leaving your country with a work mentality to strive for better,you possess or develop a skill whether it be singing,cooking,wood working,dancing,tailoring,etc. to name a few,you go with the intention to be the best you can be in someone else country.
The internet is free,your mind is free to think what you wanna be,failure is only for a short time,success is great and with a clean heart and mind success is your next window to be open.
